Sandy Beach, Neaverth and 'KB legend Tom Shannon were reunited at 1520 for a couple of magical years in the mid-1980s.

'KB became a satellite oldies station at midnight. In 1989, it switched to satellite business. Formats since then have included (mostly) satellite talk, satellite country, satellite sports and satellite business. On Jan. 27 2003, it reverted back to an oldies format. That format was dropped in February, 2006 for a liberal talk format.
